Hello! My name is Fatiah Lawal. I’m from Los Angeles, California specifically the San Fernando Valley. I’m from a Nigerian immigrant household with 2 brothers and one sister (my sister was a cabbie hehehe). Fun facts about me is that I like to cook ALOT. I like giving my friends new recipes I’ve tried. I also danced for 5+ years but stopped after high school, and I like to crotchet but haven’t had time to get back to it. 2024-2025 will be my second year in CAB. I joined CAB because I went to Treats N' Beats 2022 as a freshman with my friends and had so much fun and wanted to provide the same excitement and fun I had while also building a community within UC Merced. I also wanted something more on the fun side of my extra curricular and event planning is very exciting because you get to bring something to life. My favorite memory within CAB is any socials with the Traditional Committee. It was a good way for me to get comfortable within CAB. My favorite event would be Drag Queen Bingo because I grew up watching RuPaul and love drag. After I graduate, I hope to get my PHD in Applied Mathematics or Data Science and get into Data Science for a Music Company.
